About netsh.io

netsh.io is a suite of network diagnostic tools covering four areas: core network checks (Ping, Traceroute, Port Checker, Website Health Check), DNS and mail (DNS Lookup, MX Lookup, Mail Health Check, SPF/DKIM/DMARC), security (SSL Certificate Checker, DNS Blacklist Check), and IP/web lookups (WHOIS, IP Info, HTTP Headers). The full set is always visible in the sidebar from any tool page.

Every check runs server-side, not in your browser, so results reflect what the wider internet sees rather than your local network, firewall, or corporate proxy — useful if you're troubleshooting from inside a restrictive environment and need to know whether a problem is actually external.

The tools themselves need no account and save no lookup history — each check is a stateless, one-off request: enter a target, get a result, move on. An account (sign in with Google or email) is only needed if you want an API key to call these same checks programmatically. Requests to private networks, localhost, and cloud metadata endpoints are blocked before any outbound check runs, so the service can't be used to probe internal infrastructure.

The name nods to netsh, the Windows command-line network shell utility — this site is not associated with the command, or with Microsoft, and doesn't replicate its interface. It's simply a name that fit a network-diagnostics tool.

The site may be supported by advertising, shown only after a cookie choice — see the cookie policy. There is no paywall on the tools themselves, and there are no plans to add one.
